Learning Objectives

DISC - Understanding Human Behavior:

Have you ever noticed that the way some people communicate can affect your desire to speak with them or even help them? In this section of the report, you will learn more about your communication style and how you can focus on having even better communication with others. 

Each Participant will also receive a personalized Growth Impact Report that will include:

·      Their DISC Style

·      Their PowerDISC™ - Which is their strengths in leadership

·      Their Workplace Style Characteristics

·      Their Communication Style

·      Their Team Style - Which is a measure of their thinking and task preferences

Belief Systems and Motivators:

Each of us has ideals we hold tightly, and for good reason: they are important! The Values Style portion of the report will provide you with insight into some of your professional values, which help shape your decisions and drive actions. 

Proactive Leadership Strategies:

Are you an Analyzer who performs best when working in a practical way to refine methods, or a Strategist who thrives on solving problems and making plans for goals? There are five key role themes, and on the Teams Style section, you will see your role preference and how you can have an even greater impact on the work you do. 

Conflict Management:

You will also discover during the workshop the obstacles that prevent or slow down teamwork and the four elements that collaboration requires.

Servant Leadership:

Foundational servant style leadership practices and philosophies.  All of the training will have a focus on serving the people you lead and seeking to equip them for success personally and professionally. In this section of the training we will focus on topics such as:

·      The Toughest Person to Lead is Always Yourself

·      A Leader’s First Responsibility Is to Define Reality

·      To See How the Leader Is Doing, Look at the People

Decision Making:

The next section of our training will focus on increasing the group’s ability to make good decisions. In this section the group will engage in exercises that will help them reflect on previous experiences, both positive and negative, and what insights can be concluded from those experiences. This will give each participant a framework by which to make future decisions. In this section we will discuss topics such as:

·      Keep Your Mind on the Main Thing

·      Your Biggest Mistake Is Not Asking What Mistake You’re Making

·      Leaders Distinguish Themselves During Tough Times
